15. Basic Questions

Basic Questions

A Dynamic Enterprise Management Information System (DEMIS), a specific organization’s implementation of the GEM, answers basic questions about "things" of interest to an enterprise with speed, validity, and completeness, from a number of views. The roots of such basic questions are: where, who, why, what, how, with what, for what, how many, how much, how often, and/or when. Any enterprise must be able to answer questions such as these, singly or in combination, as quickly and fully as possible, about their managed entities to reduce production cycle time and cost. Decisions come from the results of such questions.
