2. General Relationship Characteristics

Fundamental to an understanding of "Context" is the understanding of "Objects" and "Enterprise".

An enterprise is an undertaking or effort by an individual or group (of any size) to accomplish a task. In this sense, every action taken towards accomplishing a mission, vision, or goal is an enterprise. The enterprise is bounded only by what can be directly or indirectly controlled in forwarding the task’s accomplishment.

An object is anything in which an enterprise has interest, whether tangible or intangible. Objects have specific characteristics, behaviors, interactions with other objects, and relationships between objects.
